Hello Everyone! The sun is out and shining here after a weekend of rain. Love the clear blue skies. I am running around like a chicken with their head cut off as I am preparing for Amtrak trip to Seattle to meet my daughter’s future in laws. We were chatting and the mom really liked the quilt I had given her son and the other quilts that my daughter has of mine. She even asked if she could have one. I asked Caitlin should I bring one? She said they didn’t have room to get it home so probably not. So I sit here wondering should I take one anyway just in case? Should I make something small like potholders? Decisions. Decisions. I leave in 3 days. Whew!
I will be linking up with Carol over at Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday. Come join us!
Under the Needle Last Week
Wow! I actually got a lot done. When I went through my pics, I realized that 15 minutes a day and then my quilty zoom day yesterday made for a extremely productive week. Let’s take a look:
- Finished 100 days 2023 blocks 77 – 80. I am using Alison Glass 2023 Sunprints for this quilt.
- Finished two more design boards 😊
- Worked on some EPP for the first time in a while. I only spent 15 mintues, but sure felt good. Just one more unit to attach and block 2-2 will be done.
- Finished two leaders and enders blocks this week. This is a Four Patch Four Patch block using Tula Pink Daydreamer collection with Tula solids.
- Worked on April Cottage and finished yesterday. This is using Alison Glass’s Chrysanteums collection
- Biggest win was finishing the three blocks I need for Section 2 of Scrappiness is Happiness ~ Quick Dash, Tall Pines, & Patchwork Tulip
- Final win was assembling Section Two of the Scrappiness is Happiness SAL.

Afterthoughts
This could be a picture from my sewing studio. LOL! I received happy mail yesterday from Fat Quarter Shop. I order Tula Pink’s latest fabric collection – Roar! Someone asked me if I had a plan for it. I told them just planning on petting all those dinosaurs 🦖
I am a little under time pressure today. I had hoped to redo the Action List section in May but it isn’t happening today. I want to make a list of my monthly goals and then reduce them each week. I just don’t have time for it right now. Thanks for all of your patience as I organize my life and my quilting right here on the page.
Happy quilting everyone!

Oh my! You did get a lot done! I really like the Allison Glass prints—so pretty.
Scrappiness is Happiness is just adorable! I’m excited for your Amtrak trip. Let us know if you decide to take something small. It’s hard to resist gifting someone who likes our work, right? 😉 Have a fun trip Peggy!
You have some very fun projects in the works. Enjoy your trip to Seattle. Good luck with your list for May. Even if you don’t check off all the items, checking off some still means you made progress.
My motto exactly Kate. Thank you for stopping by. I hope to hear from you again.
