Hello Everyone! Hope your Fourth of July was relaxing. It was my first in Vancouver. I didn’t SEE 👀 any fireworks 🎆 but I sure did hear 👂🏻it. Otherwiser it was a pretty chill day. The weather was overcast but nice. I enjoyed it before the heat 🥵 wave started on the Fifth.

I will be linking up with Carol over at Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday linkup. Check it out.

To Do Tuesday #146

Not a lot to share this week. I have no idea what happened to the time. All of a sudden it’s July 2025! Nothing real exciting happened this week. Helped Caitlin move from her rental house to her rental townhome. Jannes made it back safely from his job interview in New Zealand. We are having a mini heat wave (but nothing like last years). Yesterday we hit a high of 94F yesterday. Only supposed to be 88F today then we will be back to our normal 70’s. Really not sure what happened to my week. Hmm…

I plan to link up with Carol at Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday. Check it out!

To Do Tuesday #145

Oops! Has it been two weeks? Sorry about that. I got wrapped up with guests again. This time it was my brother Scott in from Brooklyn, New York. He stayed with me a few days before heading down to Corvallis to see his grandkids. It was awesome seeing him. It has been a year. The most exciting thing we did was do a hike at

It was a beautiful day for a hike – sunny & 70F. Only issue I had was that it said it was 2 miles but it was really 3 miles 🥾🤪. I survived. This hike is not an easy hike. There is a lot of elevation. I opted to go UP the steepest part and come down the sloping hillside. As always, coming down is harder than going up. Great hike though! Great company.

To Do Tuesday #144

This week has found me settling into more normal routine except for the daily trips to do kitty chores for the honeymooners who are currently in Grand Teton National Park. It has been a heatwave here but all of us are mustering through. In my truck it hit a high of 99F. Today is way cooler. Such a relief after the past several days.

Grand Teton National Park

My friend Carol Schmilt who is our host for To Do Tuesday in British Columbia has also been affected by the same heat wave. Planning to link up with Carol this week. Check out the blog and the linkup for inspiring ideas.

To Do Tuesday #143

Whew! What a chaotic two weeks! My daughter Caitlin is happily married and getting ready to two weeks of camping (and half marathons) with her new hubby at Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The wedding day went off without a hitch. It was great to see my grandson Shaun after almost six weeks. Here are a few photos from the wedding day:
