To Do Tuesday #119

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to Quilty Update. Happy to have got to spend some time in the sewing studio this week. While I was super optomistic in my expectations, I am happy with the results.

This last week we had gorgeous Faux Fall weather and I loved every minute of it. Yesterday and today we are back to summer with today hitting a high of 91 so far. We haven’t even gotten to the hottest part of the day. While I prefer Fall weather, I am going to enjoy these final sparks of summer. We are feeling pretty lucky here in Northern California to only have a few wildfires so far this year. Our neighbors to the north (Washington and Oregon) are not so lucky. The air quality is very poor. Sending rain thoughts their way.

Welcome to this week’s edition of To Do Tuesday where I will be sharing what quilty things I worked on this week. Yesterday was a Quilt Zoom day with some of my friends. I picked up where I left off from the Lake Tahoe Quilt Retreat last month.

To Do Tuesday #101

Hello Everyone! Hope all of you who are on the West Coast are surviving this Heat Wave. It has been following me around everywhere I go. I am currently in Vancouver, Washington and it is suppose to top out at 100F today. It will start cooling off here. Unfortunately, I will be heading home tomorrow to San Jose, where the heatwave is in its second wave. Beating the heat has been a challenge.

It is hard to believe that I have been posting To Do Tuesday for two years already. I know I have missed a week here and there. Crazy right?

This past week was a full schedule. I managed to get stuff done even with running around all week catching up on errands. Let’s take a look at what I did this past week.

To Do Tuesday #82

It is time for this weeks update on my quilty projects. Here in San Jose we survived a very vicious storm. It has been two days since it passed through San Jose and people are still without power. I feel fortunate that I never lost power. Yesterday I drove through town what should have been a 15 minute drive that took me an hour due to lights out, streets blocked by down power lines and trees, and of course, crews trying to clean up the storm damage. I am counting my blessings and am glad that everyone is safe.

EPP DIARY: June 2021

Another month has slipped by with plenty of hockey. A matter of fact there has been so much hockey that I kind of got burnt out for a week. I took a week off and just read instead. LOL!

EPP DIARY: May 2021 Progress

Time is zipping past at the speed of light. I got my second Covid-19 shot today. In another 2 weeks, I should be 95% protected. Of course everyone wants you to keep doing the masks and everything. I just want to get back to normal and quit living in fear.
