To Do Tuesday #113

Hi Everyone! Today is the first day of October. It is hard to believe we are in the last quarter of 2024. It just seems like yesterday I was thinking about all the things I wanted to do this year. LOL! I may have not done everything, but I have been busy.

To Do Tuesday #112

Hi Everyone! I am flabbergasted that we are already into the last week of September. It just seems like yesterday that it was August. We have another hot one here in San Jose. Probably out last 90F+ day here in the Bay.

I wasn’t feeling very quilty this week and barely got any time in the sewing studio until yesterday when I forced myself to spend the day. Amazing enough, I had no cat companions in the sewing room until late afternoon. It is amazing how much more you can get done without fur babies interfering.

To Do Tuesday #110

Hello from Redding, California! It was over 100F yesterday when I got here. Today is expected to be cooler at 94F. LOL! I am looking forward to going to Lassen Volcanic National Park tomorrow. I went last fall but only had time to see half of what I wanted. The park is generally cooler than Redding because you are in the mountains. Can’t wait!

To Do Tuesday #108

Hi Everyone!

This last week we had gorgeous Faux Fall weather and I loved every minute of it. Yesterday and today we are back to summer with today hitting a high of 91 so far. We haven’t even gotten to the hottest part of the day. While I prefer Fall weather, I am going to enjoy these final sparks of summer. We are feeling pretty lucky here in Northern California to only have a few wildfires so far this year. Our neighbors to the north (Washington and Oregon) are not so lucky. The air quality is very poor. Sending rain thoughts their way.

Welcome to this week’s edition of To Do Tuesday where I will be sharing what quilty things I worked on this week. Yesterday was a Quilt Zoom day with some of my friends. I picked up where I left off from the Lake Tahoe Quilt Retreat last month.

To Do Tuesday #104

Hello Everyone! I am back from the quilt retreat. Whew! What fun we had at beautiful Lake Tahoe, Nevada. There was 26 of us from all over the United States. The quilter who traveled the fartherest was from Wisconsin. Lots of quilting and games was had every day along with lots of food and wine.
