Hello my Stitchy Friends! It has been another crazy busy week. I ended up missing stitching a couple of nights but still made some nice progress that I can’t wait to share with you! Let’s get started:
Starts & Finishes
Once again no new starts or finishes.
WIP Updates
While I may not have a lot to share this week, I feel pretty good with what I did do.
Jul WIPGO Project #9: Winter Stitching Season by Stitching with the Housewives

It felt good to wrap up this WIPGO goal from July. Plus I just know this will end up being a finish for this year. Well it might end up being January because December I usually focus on Christmas. Definitely will be a finish soon! But for now, it is going back into the closet for later.

Quick flashback to how this goal started and finished!
Jul WIPGO Project 17: Oakly Acorns by Robin Pickens

I almost finished the July WIPGO goal one night this week but it spilled over into a second night. I finally hit that 2000 stitch mark and it felt so good. Since this one is autumn, it will be hanging out for the next three months (of fall). Who knows? Maybe this will be a finish this fall. That would be sweet.
Yes. I did check off BOTH July WIPGO goals in this first couple of weeks of August. That makes 3 old WIPGO goals!
Aug WIPGO Project #19: November Stackables by Fat Quarter Shop (It’s Sew Emma)

This is one of two last of the Stackables to be finished. I only had the bucket for the November Stackables to finish. I am halfway done with it now. I was able to almost finish outlining it and filling in the bucket. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will get checked off this next week. It feels good to get this done! I forgot how fun Stackables can be.
Fruit of Plenty by Modern Folk Embroidery

This is another one that I spent a couple of nights on as I worked on finishing the borders and corners. I can check that off. All that is left is the final motif! I can’t believe I am so close to being finished. This has been a five year project that is close to being complete!
Plans & Reflections
The week just flew by with so much to do. The stitching results were a definite feel good for the week. With my hectic schedule, I have still (can you believe it) not made a plan for August. I have continued working on WIPGO projects since I don’t have a plan. This is what I am thinking for this week:
- Finish up Shabby Winter Calendar
- Finish up November Stackables
- Start HOD Plaid Tidings
- The Castle
- Start Stitching Quilt
- Summer Stitching Season
Have a great weekend my friends!
