Welcome back to this week’s edition of Floss Friday. It is actually Thursday but will be posting tomorrow. I will be on the road (I5) from San Jose, CA to Seattle, WA tomorrow. Average driving time is 14 hours. So I thought I would prep the blog today to post tomorrow. Here we go!

Continue reading “To Do Tuesday #83”The sun is shining and it is going to be an absolutely beautiful day! I will make sure to enjoy it before the next storm system. I did end up with a brief power outage of like 15 minutes on Wednesday, so not too bad compared to others in this area.

Continue reading “Floss Friday #77”It is time for this weeks update on my quilty projects. Here in San Jose we survived a very vicious storm. It has been two days since it passed through San Jose and people are still without power. I feel fortunate that I never lost power. Yesterday I drove through town what should have been a 15 minute drive that took me an hour due to lights out, streets blocked by down power lines and trees, and of course, crews trying to clean up the storm damage. I am counting my blessings and am glad that everyone is safe.

Not sure if it is snow in the mountains because it is a warm rain here. So I am enjoying it. February historically is our coldest and wettest month of the year. Will it be this year?

Saw a few houses in Gardenerville, NV so I have more of a feel for what is out there as well as what I am looking for. Beautiful area. I am way ahead of schedule of when I would want to move out of California so this should be fun looking for that forever home.

The valley is just gorgeous surronded by mountains. I had blue skies coming and going. Yesterday had a lot of snow from the day before, but still a gorgeous day. Let’s jump into this week’s progress.
