What Got Done This Week

I don’t have a lot to share this week. I had a quilty zoom day on Tuesday with a new group. About 10 minutes after we finished, my SECOND sewing machine jammed in less than a week. Unfortunately, I did not have time to run it to the sewing machine hospital for a couple of days. They now have two of my babies.

I did get a call yesterday for the first machine dropped off with a diagnose. Per the tech, he thinks he will be done today 🤞I hope I get the call, but even if I do, I am vehicless today as my truck is in the shop too!

Meanwhile, I did get a few things done.

  • I finished 100 days blocks 64-66!
  • Finished October Monthly Color Challenge. Why do I feel this should be orange??
  • Finished another row for Dorothy’s Quilt (row 5 not pictured)

I had some handwork to do but ended up doing too many errands and appointments so never worked on that.

Afterthoughts

We are finally getting some rain around here so I started my fall routine – cleaning the solar panels, cleaning the rain gutters out, winter servicing on the truck, and dreaming about summer vacations.

After a week off from the sewing studio, I am ready to hit the needle hard. I do so enjoy the process and the journey. To kick start my day, I think I will take a look at those pink threads and get them organized….
