To Do Tuesday #55

Hello Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your summer. Today is another edition of To Do Tuesday which I will be linking up with Carol at Quilt Schmilt.

What Got Done This Week

I have managed to somehow stay current with my two daily SAL but not much more.

Above are the blocks completed this week for the 100 days 100 blocks with Gnome Angel (Angie) using her Maple & Eucalyptus pattern. My block 24 looks different from everyone elses but I like mine better. I started substitute other colors to get more contrast in the block. Still using the Sunprint 2023 collection from Alison Glass and its coordinating solids.

Above are the 365 Block Challenge blocks I completed. This was a free challenge off of Katherine Kerr’s website in 2018. I think she has updated this sewalong but I don’t know if it is still free.

I also finished:

  • My churn dash block
  • Cut my Scrappiness is Happiness blocks: Granny Star Block & 2 In Flight blocks
  • Cut Juyly Monthly Color Challenge
Churn Dash block

Afterthoughts

I definitely lost all that momentum I had earlier in the month. Now it is a daily struggle to get my blocks done. I am starting to get antsy as I would like to work on other projects besides the two SAL. We will see if I can make it all the way through July before I jump off the band wagon. LOL!

I wish everyone the best of luck with your projects this week!

  1. I like your 100 days 100 blocks! I just looked at the pattern, and it is beautiful. So are you doing yours in the gradation shown on the pattern? LOL on that cat-zoom meme! Good luck with staying with your daily SALs. 😉
