Wow! Where did the week go! I had a lot of distractions this week so only a few things done even with my all day sewing on Friday. I don’t know about you, but any progress makes me happy.
I will be linking up with Linda again over at Texas Quilt Gal this week’s link up for To Do Tuesday.

Week 13 To Do List (May 17th -May 23rd)
My brother is visiting most of this week so I am not sure how much will really happen. I am sending him home with a bed quilt that I finished earlier this year. He is very excited.
To Do #1 – Quilt Name of the Rose Mystery Quilt
Still need to cut the batting and pick a pattern to quilt.
To Do #2 – Quilt February Table Runner
Still planning to quilt at same time as my Name of the Rose quilt.
To do #3 – Label for Rose Quilt
While I was on my road trip to Paso Robles, I hit a few quilt stores and found the cutest preprinted labels. I am thinking I may use for this quilt.
To Do #4 – Sew First Border on Sunshine Quilt
Definitely will do this week!
To Do #5 – Design Pieced Border for Sunshine Quilt
Nothing to say other than I just need to get it done.
To Do #6 – Finish Clue 5 of the Olympia Mystery SAL
I started this last Friday on Sew Day. I made a little progress.
To Do #7 – Finish basting last Lost & Found quilt block
I’m halfway through the process for the last block
To Do #8 – Continue Working on Piecing Lost & Found block 19
Made some nice progress. Almost done with the first of three rounds for this block.
To Do #9 – Cut 2 more 365 Blocks
I cut two last week. That was a happy moment to exceed my goal!
To Do #10 – Sew a 365 block
So I cut two last week and sewed one of those blocks on Sew Day. There were 54 pieces to that 6 1/2 inch block! So while I want to feel bad about only finishing 3 blocks in 6 hours, I just can’t!
Recap of Week 13
So the list is a tiny bit smaller and I am not sure how much I will actually get done with entertaining company for most of this week. This is my next logical step for my active projects so why not list them. Don’t forget, I am a little ADD so just because it is on my list doesn’t mean I have committed to finishing that step. It just means I might. Say I don’t feel like sewing but am in the mood to do some cutting. Then I just look at my list and see what I have that needs to be cut. If I feel like designing or planning, I can look to see what needs to be done. I know it’s weird, but it is how my brain works.

The kitties missed me while I was gone so today they have been very demanding. Here is Simba in his needed mode.
Peggy
Wow if you get anything done on the list with your brother visiting, you’ll be doing well! I’m sure Simba will be vying for attention. 😉 I bet your brother is going to love his quilt. Do you cook much while he’s visiting, or do you go out to eat?
Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday!
I ended up getting nothing done while my brother was here other than shopping for more fabric. He is a great enabler because he is fascinated on how the fabrics all work together. We mostly ate out but I did do some simple cooking. I am not much of a cook because I am not really a foodie. Food is something we need for survival so I find it hard to get excited about it. I literally got nothing done so I did not do a new To Do Tuesday as I am working off this list. thanks for having me!
Hi Peggy! I agree – any progress is fabulous. The weeks have been speeding by for me, too. I think it’s because it’s near the end of the school year here and that last few weeks whip by. Too many things going on, that’s for sure! Good luck with you list this week. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
Thanks Roseanne. I ended up visiting with family instead of quilting last week so this week I am working on my list. My sister and niece came to my house so they could see my brother as well. It was a week full of lovely family.
