Election Day! Make sure you vote today. It’s a Presidential Election year! Can’t believe we are in November already. Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away. Crazy.
I will be linking up with Carol over at QuiltSchmilt again this week for the To Do Tuesday linkup where we share what we are working on and this week’s to do list.
Under the Needle Last Week
It was a fairly productive week. I kept sneaking into the sewing room for 15 minutes here and there. I just realized that I didn’t always takes photos of the things that I worked on or finished which is a shame. So I have included photos from prior weeks for ongoing projects.
- Finally finished Block 3-1 (half diamond) for the Queen of Diamonds English Paper Piecing QAL. So glad I take photos from the book. I had to refer to it often to finish this half diamond to make sure I had the pieces going the correct direction.
- I made 3 Lime blocks this week for the Dragonfruit Quilt as well as the last 2 Mulberry blocks.
- I finished appliquing both January and November Gnome Is Where The Heart is.
- Made both bindings and hanging tabs for the Gnomes. Found matching buttons for the hanging tabs from Another Button Company.
- Finished the label for Bunny Knoll and ironed it on. Didn’t like the fabric markers I got so I gave them away yesterday.

Afterthoughts
Still working on figuring out how to make my ADHD self more productive with my quilty projects. I have a lot of squirrel moments or sometimes just plain no mojo. I did find sneeking into the sewing studio for 15 minutes was helpful with keeping me motivated. There is another quilt that is constantly bugging me to be started. It is a pumpkin quilt by Lori Holt that I really really want to do. I keep talking myself into waiting until next year. We shall see how successful I am. I love pumpkins, halloween, cats, hummingbirds, and of course rainbows.
Sneeking you ask? Nala can be…. Too much help and tends to follow me everywhere when I am home. I love the company and if she would just lay (not on my project) or not steal anything (thread, pins, needles, fabric….). She is definitely a material girl. Lucky for me, Simba has become obsessed with Shaun my grandson so he is pestering him more than me these days. Just love these covid kitties who do not understand boundaries.
Enjoy our beautiful fall weather. Please leave comments below. Love seeing them.
