Floss Friday #4

How quick the week went! I didn’t make it through everything I wanted to work on this week but I do love all that I did finish.

FINISHED: January Calendar Crates (main chart) by Stitching with the Housewives

Super happy to finish this one up by the end of March. Overall it went fairly fast and it was a fun stitch.

Christmas Calendar by Tiny Modernist

I wish I could have finished more on this 25th of the month stitch. I did make progress on this fun Christmas stitch though.

START: March Snapshot by Sandra Workman

It felt good to get this one started even if it doesn’t look like much yet.

Snow Village by Country Cottage Needleworks

I had a goal of finishing release #2 Skates & Sleds before sliding it back in the closet making room for all those fun spring stitches. I am happy I actually did get it done.

Fruit of Plenty Sampler by Modern Folk Embroidery

Still plugging away at this one. I keep wanting to work on it every day for 15 minutes but just some days it just doesn’t happen. I only got it out once this week which is better than none!

Just My Type by Fat Quarter Shop

I finished up the actual typewriter and am now working on the paper and rest of the type writer. I really love the thread (Weeks Dye Works) on the Fabric Flair Antique Sage. It looks great!

March Recap

I had three new starts this month and three finishes this month so that leaves me with 20 WIPS. I am shelving all the the Winter/Christmas stitches except Christmas Calendar for the 25th of the month stitchalong with Lori Holt and Let’s Talk Winter. I think I can wrap up the Winter stitch in April and hope to start the Spring one.

This week found me prepping a new line up for Spring including: Tea Thyme, Let’s Talk Spring, April Truckin Along, 2022 Heartfelt Charity SAL, and FQS Sail Away from 2021. Plus pulled off the shelf Butterfly Dream which just needs some outline stitching.

I am off to Seattle for the weekend for a Mother-Daughter weekend. I will try and remember to get a picture of Caitlin’s current project to share next week. I am taking Fruit of Plenty and Mr. February with me to work on.
