To Do Tuesday #114

Welcome Back! We are have one of the hottest weeks of the whole year. It has been over 95 (and most of the time 100) for the past 7 days. Crazy weather. My first week of my October Temperature cottage will be all one color since it is rare to be over 92F here in San Jose. My house is going to be pretty though!

Hi Everyone! Today is the first day of October. It is hard to believe we are in the last quarter of 2024. It just seems like yesterday I was thinking about all the things I wanted to do this year. LOL! I may have not done everything, but I have been busy.

To Do Tuesday #112

Hi Everyone! I am flabbergasted that we are already into the last week of September. It just seems like yesterday that it was August. We have another hot one here in San Jose. Probably out last 90F+ day here in the Bay.

I wasn’t feeling very quilty this week and barely got any time in the sewing studio until yesterday when I forced myself to spend the day. Amazing enough, I had no cat companions in the sewing room until late afternoon. It is amazing how much more you can get done without fur babies interfering.

Floss Friday #109

I had a great stitchy week. Worked on mastering Mark R-XP app. I am loving it when everything goes smoothly, but not so much when it doesn’t. LOL. Typical me. I have definitely had fun playing with this app. I was surprised how inspiring it is to know you only have 4 green stitches left or that you are 78% done. Very cool. Let’s take a look at what I worked on this past week and what I hope to work on this coming week.

To Do Tuesday #110

Hello from Redding, California! It was over 100F yesterday when I got here. Today is expected to be cooler at 94F. LOL! I am looking forward to going to Lassen Volcanic National Park tomorrow. I went last fall but only had time to see half of what I wanted. The park is generally cooler than Redding because you are in the mountains. Can’t wait!

Welcome back! Today will be toasty as we once again hit over 90F. The rest of the week is warming up. I am sure September will have a few more of those for us before it is all over and Fall settles in. It is amazing how different my perspective about the temp is in September versus July. 😝

To Do Tuesday #108

Hi Everyone!

This last week we had gorgeous Faux Fall weather and I loved every minute of it. Yesterday and today we are back to summer with today hitting a high of 91 so far. We haven’t even gotten to the hottest part of the day. While I prefer Fall weather, I am going to enjoy these final sparks of summer. We are feeling pretty lucky here in Northern California to only have a few wildfires so far this year. Our neighbors to the north (Washington and Oregon) are not so lucky. The air quality is very poor. Sending rain thoughts their way.
