To Do Tuesday #44

Hi Everyone!

It has been a while since I have posted due to traveling most of the month. I visited my daughter in Seattle for a week and then the next week headed off to Chicago with my grandson for a hockey showcase. We got back Sunday night and I am still trying to get back in the groove.

I plan to link up with Carol over at Quilt Schmidt. Last time I posted, it just would not link and I was headed out of town with no time to troubleshoot. Keep your fingers crossed.

What Got Done This Month

So I am checking with what I wrote last time and what I have been doing since I posted April 4th.

  1. So I finished March Monthly Color Challenge in gorgeous Alison Glass reds.
  2. Sewed up 4 more March BOMs.
  3. I finished sewing all the blocks for March On Wander Lane.
  4. I finished fusing all the applique on the March House block for On Wander Lane.
  5. I got Tula (my Bernina 770) back from the sewing machine hospital and spa. She seems to have enjoyed her time there. I really missed her though.
  6. I cut my next Scrappiness is Happiness block.

For a three week stint, not much got done. LOL! But I did have fun and even went on a shopping spree in Seattle at the cutest quilt shop called Gossypium Quilt shop in Issaquah, WA just 30 minutes north of Seattle. A matter of fact, to get the fabric I purchased home, I left stuff at my daughters. LOL!!!

Wrap Up

I sure missed my kitties and they missed me. They were clingy after the first trip and now they just won’t leave me alone. I don’t have a picture of Cali. She is a wee bit camera shy even though she is the biggest lap cat of the three of them. Here is Nala and Simba.

They are watching playoff hockey and playoff basketball with me. We don’t have a team that we are rooting for in hockey as the Sharks didn’t make it, but we are definitely rooting for the Warriors. It has been a nail biter every game.

Everyone have a fun and productive week. Thank you for stopping by to see what I have been up to. Friday I will finally update on all of my cross stitch projects.

  1. Hi Peggy! That picture of your kitty just makes me smile. What pretty coloring it has. All of them are gorgeous. I’m so glad that you had such a wonderful month of travel, visiting, and quilt shops. Good luck getting back into the groove. I know you will. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Awww your kitties are so, so sweet. I know they are glad to have Meowmy home. As always your projects are just eye candy! I visited the Gossypium website, and that looks like a very special shop. They have a neat back story. Enjoy your week!

  3. Still pretty productive!! I forgot how colorful the rainbow log cabin quilt is! 😍
