Hi Everyone! My name is Simba. I am my mom’s favorite cat, at least that is what she says. Well maybe she says I am her favorite boy. Anyway, she is letting me write today’s post because she is not feeling very creative today and wanted a break.
Oh yea! She said to make sure you knew we were linking up with Carol over at Quilt Schmilt. Did you know Carol lives in British Columbia!? I think that is so cool! I wonder if they like kitties as much there as they do here in California?
What Got Done This Week
My Mom hasn’t been in her sewing studio for three days! So she got a little behind on her sewalongs. I don’t think it so bad but she is all grumpy. At least she is still petting me when I head butt her.
She was in the sewing studio yesterday and she seemed very happy. I decided to leave her alone instead of sitting in front of the sewing machine. Although that is one of my favorite spots to sit because it means I get lots of pets. Nala told me that she went in to check on Mom and Mom only did two blocks! Nala was very disappointed Mom didn’t stay longer. Nala loves to play with her threads and to lay on her wool mat especially after she has ironed something.
I overheard Mom complaining to some quilting friends that she had to do double mitred piecing AND partial seams. I don’t know what that means but she seemed peeved that she had to do it.

Afterthoughts
I thought I would let you know what me and my two sisters have been up to this week. Nala and I love to stalk our older sister Cali. We think it is hilarious when she jumps and runs away. It is one of Nala’s favorite games. Most of the time I just ignore both of them. Little sisters can be so annoying.
I was thrilled to have lots of company this past week. I saw Micah (one of my favorite humans) as well as his mom and dad. Nala likes Auntie Dorothy. That is her favorite human besides Shaun. I think she likes Auntie more than Shaun. I wandered over to get pets from everyone and made sure to head butt everyone so they know I was pleased they were petting me. Cali just hid upstairs the whole time.
Cali was happy mom started meditating every day again. Cali loves meditation time. I don’t know how mom meditates with Cali poking her the whole time. Whatever floats Mom’s boat. I just know I will get treats when they are done so I hang out on the cat post waiting. Nala ususally wanders in when she hears them meditating too.
I am looking through photos to see if there are any recent photos of us.
Thanks for stopping by to see what we have been doing this week.

Ah it is so nice to see another post from you, Simba. You write very well, and your paws must have gotten tired typing that long list! Love the photos of you sweet kitties – you are so handsome (love the white around your mouth) and your sisters are so pretty.
Thank you Linda. Tell your kitties I said hi.
