I don’t have a lot to share this week. I had my last Quilt Zoom day until after the move to Vancouver, Washington. Last week we started packing the sewing studio. On Monday I will be taking a trip to buy furniture and take some of my sewing stuff. We shall see how it goes.
I plan to linkup with Carol Schmilt at Quilt Schmilt for To Do Tuesday.

What Got Done This Week

The only thing I have to share for this week is finishing the blocks for Month 5 of Dragonfruit BOM. Yesterday, I pulled together all the pieces and parts for this quilt together to pack away in my current project suitcase.
I have located BOM projects for the past week and started bagging them together. It felt good to put everything together. It will be so much fun to unpack next month.
What I Hope To Do Next Week

This next week’s goal will to be finish packing all of my WIP’s in a semi-organized fashion. 😝 Every day is like Christmas as I rediscover projects or find missing parts. It has been great if not a bit overwhelming realzing what 102 WIPs look like. I made that list last year, but it didn’t seem quite real if you know what I mean.
I took my Bernina 770 in to be fixed last month and got back at the beginning of March. It is not fixed. I haven’t had time to take it back and so this moves to the top of the list to take it back for them to finish fixing.
Afterthoughts

I have known for a good five years that I would be moving in 2025, but the reality is way different than the plan. Now I am not complaining what so ever. The first week of January, I made a committment to myself to not delay and to get the ball rolling. Well this ball has rolled way faster than I imagined (thankfully). I should be in my new home by April 11th.
I shared with you back in January my word of the year Genesis. I felt it would capture what this year would be like. I have so many things to be thankful for and I am grateful to have the means to make it happen.
I am so excited to be getting a real sewing studio and look forward to setting it up!
Good luck this week on all that you hope to get done.
