Under the Needle Last Week

Let’s take a look at what got done this week.

Hmmm. I guess I didn’t take pictures of everything like I thought I did. I could have sworn….

Afterthoughts

Sending lots of positive vibes to our southern neighbors in the LA area. It so easily could have been us here in Nor Cal and I feel blessed that we are all safe. So far none of my friends in So Cal have been affected and I definitely sighed with relief. There are lots of places to make donations but be careful you are using a bonafide organization. I plan to donate to the Red Cross who are ususally first on the scene to help so many people in all kinds of situations. They have set a specific fund for the California Wildfires. If I had the link I would share, but I currently do not have it on hand.

Happy Mail

Received a fabric package from Fat Quarter Shop with Month 4 Dragonfruit BOM. Can’t wait to finish Month 3 and start working with the new fabrics.

🐿️ Meanwhile I put an order in for a special kit only quilt by Tula Pink that looks like a dresden plate medallion quilt (with her 50th collection – Full Moon Forest II) called Moonlit Menagerie. Dresden Plates are one of my favorite quilt blocks and this rainbow large version is right up my alleyway. The flying geese are foundation paper pieced. I am not sure about the rest of the quilt and all the FPP papers are included in the kit which is why it is only offered as a kit. Per Tula – This is not an applique quilt. Right now you can preorder through quilt shops. I think it will ship in April.

I don’t have anything else to share for this week. Hope everyone enjoys this week’s project progress. Until next week!
