Hello Everyone! It’s been a hectic week. I am in Chicago this weekend for my grandson’s hockey, so not a lot of stitching is happening. At least it is not snowing here! I can’t believe it is November already!
Starts & Finishes
October ended up to be a fairly productive month. I started with 26 Wips and finished with 22. I had two new starts and six finishes! One of my more productive months.
My October starts were Barn Sweet Barn and 9 Patch both for October
My October finishes included the above two projects as well as September Barn Sweet Barn, Let’s Talk Autumn, my HOD Class project, as well as this week’s finish.
Let’s Talk Summer (small) by Hands on Design
This project is destined to be a hoop. I so love watermelon and so it was a pleasure to stitch on 16 ct aida with the called for DMC thread.
Final Finishes
None this week but we did have one for the month of October. Yea!
Works in Progress
During the last week of October, I focused mostly on Halloween stitches with a little variety to break up the week.
Bats & Boos MSAL 2021 by Fat Quarter Shop
I made significant progress this past week. I now only have the border left to do. I have decided I will leave this one out for the rest of November and work on it at least once a week to try and complete this project.
Oracle Quaker Halloween SAL 2021 by Oracle Facebook Group
I finished pages 1 & 2 of this SAL. I have set a goal of finishing page 3 of this SAL before I put away until next year. I feel pretty good because this will be my only leftover Halloween project.

I have no idea what is taking so long with this design but Wednesday I was able to stitch just a little more on this one.
Upcoming
We get home Sunday night and will be home for a week and half before hitting the road for just two nights. So this next week, I hope to meet my monthly goal for my Halloween Oracle stitch as well as I brought Autumn Beauties with me this weekend with hopes to have some stitching time. Of course, I want to start the border on Bats & Boos so I am thinking maybe the black on the border all the around or one side border. Then I am anxious to finish up my Cottage of the Month so I set a weekly goal of finishing the center. I have a few final finishes I would like to work on but my priority will be Let’s Talk Autumn hoop.
Everyone have a great weekend! I hope you find something here to inspire your creativity and I look forward to sharing next week!
