Finishalong Diary: Quarter 1 2021

I really thought I would finish more things than I did, but I still finished 7 different projects this quarter out of 21. I feel good about that. I keep getting more organized as time goes on, so all is good!

Finish: Advent Christmas Wedding Quilt

Last week I gave everyone the deets about this quilt so I am not going into any details other than to say how happy I finished this one. It did arrive in Canada but the couple is in quarantine so haven’t seen it yet. My first QUILT finish of the year.

Quarter Two Goals

Second Quarter Goals

I’m a little ambitious for second quarter. I still have all of my APQ Resolution quilt tops that need to be quilted. I only finished one so far in 2021, so 11 more to go.

Rainbow, Princess, QP Sunflower, Rainbow Log Cabin, Jack Be Quick, Autumn Sliced, and Zuma Mama Gypsy Quilts to be quilted

I am still working on 8 machine applique wall hangings from three different series – Adoornaments, Blooming Series, & A Year in Words. I have two ready to be quilted & bound, two already fused, one with the background sewn, and three new starts.

The sewing projects that I have on my list are three table runners, one pieced wall hanging, two potholders, and to finish one of my cross stitch pieces called Singing in the Rain. I would also like to make one mask and one project bag but I don’t have pictures of those because I haven’t picked any fabric yet. I just have patterns.

Wrap Up

I have 14 Quarter One goals rolling over to Quarter two and 14 new goals for quarter two. That makes 28 possible finishes for next quarter. I know I won’t finish everything, but I really hope to finish at least half!
