The weekend went semi how I hoped. I did get a lot of hockey in. Way more than I anticipated which cut into my quilt time. Sadly my fellow adventurers I did not finish my January goal. I was so very close. I definitely was thinking way to big. I managed to add borders, piece the back, baste, and quilt the borders and part of the blocks, but didn’t get finished as I hoped. So for February, it will be finishing my brother’s quilt. I need to finish quilting, labelling, and binding. Just an update on my progress so far this week. Monday was a rough day at work so I bought some unhealthy food to eat on the drive home and headed straight to my sewing room. I needed to decompress.

Hi Adventurers:
As I mentioned in my earlier quilt post this month, my goal is to finish a quilt I made using a jelly roll and Jenny Doan’s (MSQC) two step block. I liked the block and pulled out a jelly roll to make it with no intentions other than to try out the block.
