Hello from Vancouver Washington! I am still here looking at houses. This house hunting as sucked up all my time each day so there has been no time since I got here on Tuesday to do any stitching. But lucky for you, I still have stuff to share this week.
Starts & Finishes
Just one finish this week.
FINISH: August Stackables by It’s Sew Emma

I was so close to finishing when I worked on this earlier in the week so I thought what the heck. It felt good coming in with another finish. This is a series from It’s Sew Emma (Fat Quarter Shop) called Stackables. I am stitching this series on 14ct Fabric Flair Pine Mountain Board with the called for Classic Colorworks. After finishing August, that leaves just 3 more to do from this series (Sep, Nov, Dec)

WIP Updates
With all the house hunting, I did not find time to work on anything for three days. So here are the projects I worked on before hitting the road:
Cresecent City Velarius by Woven Wild Crafts

This is a full coverage project and this is the first of 30 pages and I am about 25% done with the page. LOL! I really should work on it more but it isn’t REALLY my project. I am just getting it started. I do love the colors and it is definitely challenging to work on this.
Calendar Gnome: Mr. January by Charlie’s Needle

I am feeling pretty good about my progress on this project. I had hoped to do 400 stitches this month. I am happy to report that I actually finished 502 stitches! I worked on the ice pond below the snowman. I kinda wish I stitched left to right versus up/down but it is what it is. I am now over the halfway mark with 52% done. Love it!
Winter Basket #2 by Hands on Design

I worked on this one twice this week after realizing I was so close to being done. Unfortunately, I couldn’t quite finish. I am confident this will be an unexpected February finish. I have some back stitching still to do as well as pink accent stitches. I think it looks so cool.
Afterthoughts
I was going to share Caitlin’s progress on her Crescent City Fireheart. I was unable to find the project so I can only assume she took it with her on her European trip. While it makes sense, I am sad that I am not able to share it with you. So instead I am sharing her small stitches that she started from a book with all the National Parks.

I think these are so cute. She is stitching on 14 ct natural aida and framing in a floating frame.
It is short and sweet this week. Enjoy your weekend and I will check back in with you on Tuesday with all my quilty stuff. I fly home tomorrow so I will have the weekend to work on a few projects. Happy Friday!!!!
